Magnificent handmade tapestry hand embroidered by the finest artisans.
Semi precious stones are used to create a floral frame around the silk hand embroidered peacock.
These peacocks were embroidered in silk made from mulberry worms raised in Kashmir. The threads offer sheen and luster of infinite reflections.
This type of art was known and thrived in the Mughal era.

Both textiles are in very good condition. A little wear in the corners and there are two “floral areas” around the border that are missing the center bead. less
