This lovely print is an excerpt by Sarah Williams from her poem, "The Old Astronomer to His Pupil."

The poster was hand-printed on 100lb French Paper. This print measures 11 x 17 inches. THIS PRINT COMES UNFRAMED. This print was hand letterpress-printed on a letterpress proofing press form the 1940's. The design is created with antique wood and lead type. There is not much de-boss into the paper but the texture and distress of the text makes each print unique. (Expect differences in ink coverage with each print.)
